Select Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus stores might have it as well. I'm quite a fan of Egoiste, also. It's not pricey or unappealing in the scent itself, but it simply doesn't intrigue me enough to use in lieu of another green or floral scent. But I respect that this is very high quality smelling and would make a great impression with a suit in my opinion. When i sprayed it on i got a whiff that lasted a few minutes and then it was gone.

I find Acqua di Gio very playful, but I wouldn't wear it with a suit. Chanel Égoïste includes notes of Sicilian tangerine, Brazilian rosewood, coriander, rose, sandalwood, vanilla, and ambrette seed. The drydown is a spectacular blend of woods and aromatic herbs. One can hardly find a better example of a modern fougere construction, which relies on the hallmark combination of the aromatic-citrusy sparkle of bitter herbs and aroma-material dihydromyrcenol, the green pineapple flash of allyl amyl glycolate, and the woody amber dryness of Ambroxan. The lavender isn't overly sweet as in Azzaro pour Homme or Rive Gauche, and it isn't coupled with anise which smells odd to my nose. Platinum Egoiste does get nicer in the dry down as the harshness of the opening settles. Why not linger in bed awhile? With a soapy flowery base, it seems like someone brought too much sage and pepper to the party. In a pathetic effort to give something back to this fantastic site: Two words sum this up. Like with most Chanel fragrances, the scent stays on you for a long time. Has that nice weighty feel that most Chanel bottles have.

The dry down is to die for. Thank you so much for your reviews. Wanted to sample Egoist and not this flanker but received this flanker instead. It has a leather-like quality to it, and ultimately shows itself to be a dry wood scent vs. As Égoïste ages, it turns into a sharp lemon and aromatic which eventually fades back into a nicer, less abrasive floral heart with a pleasant touch of aqua.
